Moscow's former football player of the "Spartak" team, Yegor Titov, expressed his thoughts on the defeat of the "red-whites" against the "Baltika" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He criticized the mood and mental state during the game. According to Titov, even if there is one less player on the field, the team can still play and win.
However, despite playing at home with the participation of fans, the emotions during the game were insufficient. As a result, the team could not fully showcase their capabilities.
On Saturday, the "Spartak" team lost to "Baltika" with a score of 0:3. In the first half of the game, forward Anton Zabolotniy left the field early, and in the second half, the foreign player Markinhos received a red card.
As a result, "Spartak" continued the game with nine players. These situations led to the team's defeat.
In Titov's opinion, the mental state and balance within the team directly affect the outcome of the game. Therefore, the team's coaches and players need to prepare seriously for the upcoming matches.
Entering the field stronger and united against opponents is of great importance for "Spartak".
