
Spartak football club announced on Thursday that they have signed midfielder Jerson from Besiktas. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Although the club did not disclose the terms of the transfer, the Turkish team provided information about it. According to the report, the transfer fee amounted to 20 million 779 thousand 220 euros.
Additionally, the Istanbul club's revenue may increase further due to bonuses. Thus, Spartak has made the most expensive transfer in its history.
Previously, this club had not spent such a large amount in the transfer market. The most expensive player added to Spartak before was Levi Garcia, whose transfer was valued at 18.7 million euros.
The third place is completed by Gus Til, for whom the Moscow club paid 18 million euros. Currently, Spartak has managed to accumulate three points in two rounds of the Premier League.
