Rahimov: Daku does not yet have full resilience

“Rubin” team head coach Rashid Rahimov assessed the situation of striker Mirlinda Daku, emphasizing that the player still lacks sufficient endurance. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that it is necessary to improve physical preparation to conduct each game at a high level, from the first minute to the last. According to Rahimov, Daku is currently struggling to maintain a high pace for the full 90 minutes.

He gets tired after a certain part of the game, and primarily mental qualities start to play a major role. Nevertheless, the coach expects the player to work more on his endurance.

In the fourth round of the Russian Premier League, “Rubin” will face Moscow's “CSKA” away. The match will take place on August 9, Saturday, at the “VEB Arena” and will start at 15:45 Moscow time.

Additionally, Rashid Rahimov emphasized that for his team to achieve a positive result in the away game in Moscow, they must act as compact and organized as possible on the field and be active in the fight for every ball. In his opinion, only in this way can the “Rubin” team show a worthy performance against a strong opponent.
