
The Uzbekistan national team conducted recovery training ahead of an important match against Iran, reports the UFA press service.

On the evening of March 21, the "white wolves" held light recovery training sessions at the training ground in Tashkent. Players who did not participate in the match against the Kyrgyz Republic, including Oston O‘runov and Sherzod Nasrullayev, also took to the field. This was received as particularly joyful news by the fans.

The staff led by Temur Kopadze is paying special attention to maintaining the players' physical condition, pre-game preparation, and overall morale at a high level. There is a positive spirit and unity within the team.

During the training sessions, there were runs among the players, light ball passing drills, and motivational talks. Eldor Shomurodov, Abduqodir Husanov, Abbosbek Fayzullayev, Hojiakbar Alijonov, and several other players participated in the sessions with great enthusiasm.

The national team will head to Iran on March 23. Currently, in Group A, Iran is leading with 19 points, while Uzbekistan is in second place with 16 points. The third-place holders, the UAE and Qatar, have collected 10 points each. This match could pave the way for the decisive stage of the World Cup qualifiers.
