Denis Adamov, the goalkeeper of Saint Petersburg's Zenit team, shared his impressions about his team's match against Spartak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The game took place on August 16 at the Lukoil Arena stadium and ended in a 2:2 draw. According to Adamov, it was one of the most difficult matches in his career.
The team played almost the entire half a man down and was behind on the scoreboard. He emphasized that conceding a goal in that match was impossible, as such a situation would have immediately ended the game.
Additionally, the goalkeeper expressed gratitude for the support shown by Zenit fans during difficult times. After five rounds of the Russian Premier League, Zenit is currently ninth in the standings with six points.
The team is striving to improve their results in upcoming matches.
