
Two-time Olympic champion from Uzbekistan, Bahodir Jalolov, who is competing in the heavyweight category (+90 kg), shared his thoughts about the fight on April 5 in Astana.
In this fight, Jalolov will face Ukrainian Igor Shevadzutskiy.
"I will do everything I can to win. We will clarify everything in the ring. I will try to defeat my opponent and knock him out. This is our region, so I want to present a memorable fight for our people," Jalolov said in an interview with BoxNation.
30-year-old Jalolov has achieved 14 victories in professional boxing and has not yet suffered a defeat. He is a two-time world champion, Asian Games winner, and three-time Asian champion.
Bahodir's opponent, Igor Shevadzutskiy, has had 14 professional boxing matches, winning 12 of them. It is noteworthy that he has achieved 10 of these victories by knockout.
