Eduard Mor, former defender of Moscow “Spartak” and currently a football expert, shared his thoughts on the future of the “red-whites” team led by Serbian coach Dejan Stankovich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, now is not the time to make changes in the team. It is necessary to observe the results at least until the break in October.
Mor emphasized that “Spartak” can still show its potential and the team will further develop under Stankovich’s leadership. The current contract with the Serbian coach is valid until the summer of 2027.
In the fifth round of the Russian championship, “Spartak” drew 2:2 at home against Saint Petersburg’s “Zenit”. After this match, the Moscow team occupies 12th place in the Russian Premier League standings.
The team still has many opportunities ahead, and the coach and players continue to work on themselves.
