Guardiola: Ortega will leave the club soon

Sports02:44, 18-08-2025

Manchester City's goalkeeper Stefan Ortega may leave the club soon. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The German player was put up for sale after James Trafford, who was bought from Burnley, arrived. So far, it is unclear where the 32-year-old goalkeeper will continue his career.

Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola said: "I hope we resolve the matter regarding Ortega. Stefan gave us the championship, especially when he stopped Son's shot in the away game against Tottenham.

We are lucky because the team has very good goalkeepers." Stefan Ortega has been playing for Manchester City since 2022. Transfermarkt experts estimate his value at 8 million euros.
