The star German footballer's debut took place in the MLS match against Houston Dynamo. The experienced player came on as a substitute in the 61st minute, with his team leading 1-0.

However, he was unable to help his team maintain the lead. At the end of the game, the visitors equalized, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Thomas Muller officially joined Vancouver Whitecaps as a free agent less than two weeks ago. Before moving to the USA, the forward spent his entire career playing for Bayern Munich.
