Nikolay Komlichenko, the new member of Moscow's Lokomotiv club, responded to the question of whether he is expecting an invitation from the Russian national team for the upcoming friendly matches. Euro-football.ru reported on this.
He expressed his opinion as follows: "I would like to receive an invitation, but for now, I don't think I have played enough or scored enough goals for the national team." These words were shared by the "Match TV" channel.
As a reminder, the Russian national team will play two friendly matches in September. The team, led by Valery Karpin, will face the national teams of Jordan and Qatar.
The matches will take place on September 4 and 7. Additionally, since February 2022, the Russian national team has been suspended from international competitions by FIFA and UEFA decisions.
Therefore, the team's participation in international matches has been temporarily halted.
