Former England national team player Jamie Vardy may continue his career in Italy. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The forward has come under the interest of Napoli. The Daily Mail reported this information.

According to the source, the management of the Italian club is considering the option of signing Vardy as a replacement for the injured Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian player will be sidelined for three months due to a thigh muscle injury.

Currently, Vardy is without a club. He left Leicester City after his contract expired this summer.

According to rumors, the 38-year-old forward is also attracting interest from Celtic, West Ham, and Brentford. Last season, Jamie Vardy played 36 matches for Leicester, scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists.

His experience and effectiveness on the field are expected to be beneficial for his new team.
