Former Italy national team and AC Milan player Roberto Donadoni highly values the new member of the club, Croatian midfielder Luka Modric. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He believes that Luka can still be effective on the field even at the age of forty. Donadoni himself returned to Milan in 1999 at the age of 36 and won the championship title once again.
According to Donadoni, a champion like Luka plays an important role not only on the field but also in teaching young players. Age may affect playing time, but it does not affect the quality of play.
His experience is a great asset for Milan. The new Serie A season starts at the end of this week.
