Nodirbek Abdusattorov is among the most awarded chess players in the world

The International Chess Federation (FIDE) presented the list of chess players who earned the largest prize money in 2024. This list includes Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov.
The first place was taken by Indian representative, the 2024 World Champion in classical chess Gukesh Dommaraju. His prize money amounted to $1,577,842. The second place was taken by Chinese grandmaster Ding Liren ($1,183,600), and the third place was occupied by Norwegian representative Magnus Carlsen ($639,369).
Nodirbek Abdusattorov ranked 12th on the list with an income of $132,981. He achieved this result by participating in 12 major tournaments throughout the year.
The year 2025 promises new achievements and opportunities for Nodirbek. He will participate in the "Tata Steel Chess-2025" tournament taking place in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands, on January 17.
