“Liverpool” and “Newcastle” have resumed negotiations regarding striker Alexander Isak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to the famous insider David Ornstein, talks heated up on Sunday evening. Earlier, in the summer, Newcastle had rejected an offer of £110 million (127 million euros) made by the “Reds” for the Swedish player.
However, the club is now ready to sell the player for £130 million (150 million euros). Nevertheless, the source emphasized that there is no guarantee that “Liverpool” will offer such an amount on the last day of the transfer window.
The situation is still unclear. Alexander Isak has openly stated that he does not want to continue playing for Newcastle.
The 25-year-old player hopes to be sold to “Liverpool.” Currently, negotiations between the parties are ongoing and no final decision has been made regarding the future transfer.
It is known that the player himself wants to play for the new team. For this reason, changes in the situation may occur in the coming days.
The transfer process is being closely monitored.
