Dmitriy Svishchov, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, commented on the situation in the "Khimki" team in the Moscow region. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Earlier, team representatives appealed to higher sports authorities due to salary arrears but had not complained to the State Duma, which was contrary to Svishchov's wishes. According to Svishchov, no official letter has yet been received from the "Khimki" workers.
Currently, inquiries are being sent to the Russian Football Union and the prosecutor's office. He hopes that the workers' opinions will be heard.
Last season, the "Khimki" team took twelfth place in the Russian championship. However, due to financial problems, the team's license to participate in competitions was revoked, and bankruptcy proceedings have begun.
This situation raises serious concerns about the future of the sports team. Prompt measures by the responsible organizations are necessary to resolve the existing problems.
