The main striker of the Brazil national team, Neymar, was not called up for the September training camp. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti said that Neymar's exclusion from the team was due to health problems. However, the player disagreed with the coach's opinion.

According to Neymar, he had swelling in his leg muscle, but it was not a serious problem and he played in the match that day. He believes that his exclusion from the Brazil national team is related to technical reasons and emphasized that this situation is not connected to his physical condition.

The Brazil national team has qualified for the 2026 World Cup. This tournament will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The national team is preparing for a successful participation in the World Cup.
