
Georgian national team striker Jorj Mikautadze has changed clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The "Lyon" club announced on its official website the transfer of the 24-year-old player to the "Villarreal" club. The "Lyon" club disclosed the terms of this transfer.
The contract value amounts to 36 million euros, of which 31 million is guaranteed, and the remaining 5 million will be given as bonuses. According to the agreement, the "Lyon" club will retain a 10 percent share from this amount if "Villarreal" sells Mikautadze next time.
That is, if "Villarreal" sells the player in the future at a price higher than the current contract, 10 percent of the difference will be paid to "Lyon". Additionally, the "Villarreal" club will represent Spain in the Champions League during the 2025/2026 season.
