Newcastle bought Yoan Vissa instead of Isak

The 28-year-old Congolese forward Yoan Vissa has transferred from Brentford to Newcastle. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Newcastle club's press service announced this. The "black-and-white" team management paid 57.7 million euros for the forward's transfer.

Yoan Vissa is expected to take the place of Swedish footballer Alexander Isak in Newcastle. Isak recently moved to Liverpool.

Yoan Vissa has been playing for Brentford since 2021. He played a total of 149 matches for this club, scoring 49 goals and making 13 assists.

After the first three rounds of the English Premier League, Newcastle has collected only one point and is positioned in the lower part of the league table. The team aims to improve results with the help of the new player.
