Sevilla team bought Fabio Cardoso

Portuguese defender Fabio Cardoso has joined the Sevilla team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 31-year-old footballer signed a three-year contract with the Spanish club Sevilla. This was announced by the club's official website press service.

Cardoso plays as a central defender and has been playing for Portugal's Porto club since 2021. Cardoso appeared in a total of 78 matches in the Portuguese championship, scoring four goals and assisting two.

Last season, he played on loan in the UAE championship and appeared in 29 matches for the Al-Ain team, scoring one goal. Currently, Sevilla is in 12th place in the Spanish La Liga with 3 points.

Cardoso's joining the team will help strengthen Sevilla's defense. The club and the player aim to achieve good results in the upcoming season.
