Valeriy Karpin, head coach of the Russian national team and Moscow Dynamo club, announced that Fedor Smolov wanted to attend training sessions at the club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Karpin, Smolov initially wanted to play for Dynamo, but now his desire has changed. The coach does not know the reason for this and advises asking Smolov about it.
It should be recalled that the 35-year-old footballer has not belonged to any club for three months. At the end of last season, he left Krasnodar club, with which he had won the Russian championship.
Last summer, although Smolov was linked with several clubs, no concrete agreements were reached. Additionally, Smolov is a product of the Moscow Dynamo club.
Currently, it is expected that he will sign a contract with a new team.
