Russian Sports Minister Mikhail Degtyaryov recently provided information about preparing books for young football players. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Valeriy Karpin, who commented on this matter, is the head coach of Moscow's "Dynamo" team and the Russian national team. According to Karpin, he would include the famous novel "Robinson Crusoe" written by Daniel Defoe in the selection.
He evaluated this idea very positively and emphasized that reading such books would not harm young football players. At the same time, Karpin noted that the issue of how to verify whether readers have actually read the books is important.
Additionally, on Thursday, September 4, the Russian national team will take the field at home in a BetBoom friendly match against the Jordanian team. The match will start at 20:00 Moscow time at the "Lukoil Arena" stadium.
This game is considered an important experience for the national team. This event is generating great interest among football fans.
