Josep Guardiola: "We do not deserve bonuses"

Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola stated that even if his team wins the Club World Cup, they do not deserve to receive bonus money for it.
125 million dollar prize, but no bonuses this season
It is known that the winner of the competition, which will take place in the USA in June-July of this year, will officially earn a prize of 125 million dollars. However, according to Guardiola, the team has not played well enough this season to deserve bonuses.
"We do not deserve any bonuses this season. Even if we win, it may benefit the club. However, the coaches, players, and staff do not deserve extra bonuses," Guardiola said.
City's tough season
Guardiola's statement reflects a critical approach to Manchester City's performance this season. Due to increased competition in the Premier League, with clubs like Arsenal and Liverpool seriously competing for the championship, City's position differs from previous seasons.
At the same time, the team is fighting to maintain its status in the Champions League. Guardiola's statement is seen as an effort to keep the morale and discipline within the team at a high level.
Now the football world will watch how Guardiola and his disciples perform in the Club World Cup.
