
Two new players have joined the Marseille team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The new members of the team are central midfielder Matt O’Reilly and defender Nayef Agerd. This was announced by the official press service of the French club Marseille.
O’Reilly was loaned from Brighton and transferred to Marseille for two million euros. The Danish player will play in Ligue 1 until the end of the current season.
Agerd moved from West Ham and signed a five-year contract with Marseille. According to media reports, the transfer fee amounted to twenty-three million euros.
Last season, O’Reilly played in twenty-four matches for Brighton, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Agerd spent the last season on loan at Real Sociedad.
He did not score in thirty-six matches there but helped the team in defense. The new players are expected to strengthen the Marseille team.
