Sampaoli will soon become head coach of Atletico Mineiro

Famous coach Jorge Sampaoli is on the verge of being appointed head coach of Brazil's "Atletico Mineiro" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The team has been without a head coach since the end of August, as Cuca left his position. According to internal sources, including Nicolo Schira, the 65-year-old Sampaoli is expected to take charge of the "black-and-white" team in the coming days.

The parties are close to signing a contract intended to last until the end of 2027. Jorge Sampaoli's most recent job was with the French club "Rennes," where he was dismissed in early January.

The coach previously worked at "Atletico Mineiro" from March 2020 to February 2021. His return is expected to create new opportunities for the team and bring successful results.

Sampaoli aims to elevate the team to a high level with his experience and strategic knowledge. Additionally, under his leadership, the team may improve its playing style and increase its competitiveness.
