The new Liverpool player Alexander Isak was also the focus of other major clubs. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Swedish striker, who previously played for Newcastle, was also wanted by Chelsea last summer. However, Isak had already decided to move to Liverpool and did not consider other offers.

This was revealed by journalist Lewis Steel. The Liverpool team officially announced the signing of Alexander Isak on September 1.

The transfer fee amounted to 145 million euros excluding bonuses, which is a new record in English football. At the same time, Chelsea strengthened their attacking positions by signing Liam Delap from Ipswich and Joao Pedro from Brighton.

These changes are aimed at improving the teams' preparation for the season in the English Premier League. Competition in the football market is intensifying, and teams are actively working to enhance their strength.
