Moscow's Spartak club has reached an agreement to add two central defenders to its squad. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This information was shared by an internal source, journalist Ivan Karpov, on his Telegram channel. According to the data, the "red-whites" team is signing contracts with Aleksandr Jiku from Turkey's Fenerbahce and Christopher Wooh from France's Rennes.
The details of the contracts have not yet been disclosed. 31-year-old Aleksandr Jiku has been playing for Fenerbahce since 2023.
During this time, he has appeared in 75 matches, scored four goals, and assisted two goals. The Transfermarkt portal values his market price at 6.5 million euros.
Christopher Wooh is 23 years old and has been active with Rennes since 2022. He has participated in 60 matches, scored two goals, and assisted one goal.
His market value is approximately 6 million euros. These transfers are considered an important step aimed at strengthening Spartak's defensive line.
