Gomis holds Senegalese and Spanish citizenship and previously played for Switzerland's Winterthur club. The transfer fee amounted to 1.5 million euros.
According to information published on the new team's official website, a four-season contract was signed with the player. This season, Gomis scored four goals in six matches.
