Owen does not understand Kane's move to Bavaria

Famous former English footballer Michael Owen shared his thoughts about Bayern striker Harry Kane. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The former Tottenham star is in his third season in Germany. He joined the team in the summer of 2023.

Owen said about Kane: "Kane is an excellent player, he finishes attacks brilliantly, but I still don't understand his decision to move to Germany. He was close to becoming the top scorer in the history of the English Premier League, and his children were attending school.

Then he suddenly decided to move to Germany. I am surprised by this.

He could have simply moved to Celtic and become champion every year, but such an achievement is not a big deal. Actually, the greatest achievement is to be the top scorer in the history of the Premier League.

Nevertheless, I have great respect for Kane and have appreciated his play for many years," Owen said on the Rio Ferdinand podcast. Harry Kane ranks second in the all-time Premier League top scorers list with 213 goals.

He is only behind Alan Shearer (260 goals).
