Scaloni said Emiliano Martinez's transfer has stopped
Argentina national team head coach Lionel Scaloni responded to a question about Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez's transfer to Manchester United not going through. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 33-year-old world champion wanted to join the "Red Devils" and had reached a verbal agreement with the club, but Manchester United preferred to sign the young Belgian Senne Lammens. At a press conference, Scaloni emphasized that everything is fine with Emiliano, that his birthday was recently, and that he is in good spirits.

He wanted to play for Manchester United, but as a positive person, he is currently focusing on the national team and later, after returning to Aston Villa, he will fully concentrate on his team. Emiliano Martinez has been playing for Aston Villa since 2020.
