
Denis Adamov, goalkeeper of the Russian national team and Zenit club, shared his thoughts about Matvey Safonov living in France and playing for PSG. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In an interview with the Match TV channel, Adamov spoke about how Safonov prepared during training and got ready for matches in his first season. According to him, Matvey was initially expelled from the training hall and was not allowed to participate in additional training sessions.
Last season, Safonov played in 17 matches for PSG and was the backup to the main goalkeeper Donnarumma. This season, he is competing with the French goalkeeper Luca Chevalier.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the Russian national team will take the field against the Jordanian national team in a BetBoom friendly match. Alexander Maksimenko will play as the starting goalkeeper.
