Last year, the French Football Federation considered replaying the 2022 World Cup final, but Mbappe did not support this idea. According to the L'Equipe publication, the forward intervened in the matter, emphasizing that a long-lasting flight during the busiest period of the season would negatively affect the players' condition.

The federation took the player's opinion into account and rejected the proposal. It is worth recalling that the 2022 World Cup final was held in December in Qatar.
