The Argentina team secured their spot in the tournament during the spring season. In the interview, Messi stated that he has not yet made his decision and emphasized that, considering his age, it would be logical if he is not part of the team.
He noted that the team is progressing day by day, match by match. The next World Cup will be held in the summer of 2026 in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
