CSKA team's midfielder Matvey Kislyak evaluated his teammate Kirill Glebov's debut in the Russian national team during a friendly match. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Glebov came onto the field in the 61st minute, replacing Andrey Mostovoy. The player, trying to justify Valery Karpin's trust, played actively but was unable to score a goal.
According to Kislyak, it would have been great if Glebov had scored. Nevertheless, it was clearly visible that he entered the field quickly and with enthusiasm.
He is proud of Kirill's performance. The match held in Moscow ended with a 0:0 score.
Although Kislyak was called up for the game, he did not take the field. On September 7, the Russian national team will play an away match against Qatar.
In October, Valery Karpin's squad will face matches against the teams of Iran and Bolivia. In November, they will play against the Chilean national team, which finished last in South America in the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament.
These matches will be an important test for the team.
