He said that during his time working with Leo, the environment was very complex and contradictory. Messi joined the team without preseason preparation, after a heavy emotional blow, which was not easy for him.
For Pocettino, observing this process was difficult because the surrounding environment was negative and aggressive towards him. Nevertheless, he emphasized that he was pleased to work with him.
Lionel Messi played for PSG from 2021 to 2023 and is currently active with Inter Miami. Mauricio Pocettino currently manages the United States national team.
According to him, the relationship between a coach and a player can be complicated, but mutual respect and cooperation are of great importance in the professional work process.
