Sports00:06, 08-09-2025

Ali Koch, as the president of the "Fenerbahce" club, explained the reasons for the resignation of head coach Jose Mourinho. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized the need to improve the team's playing style by the end of the last season. According to Ali Koch, the team was supposed to collect 99 points and also score 99 goals.

A defeat against "Benfica" could be considered normal, but the way the game ended was unacceptable. This situation showed that there was no change in the team's performance.

Jose Mourinho managed "Fenerbahce" from 2024 to 2025, but under his leadership, the club did not win any trophies. Therefore, by the decision of the club management, he was relieved of his coaching duties.

This change is aimed at improving the team's future results.
