Ekitike competes with Isak for a starting position

Recently, striker Hugo Ekitike, who joined the Liverpool team, spoke about the competition for a starting spot with one of the summer transfers, Alexander Isak. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In an interview with L’Équipe, Hugo Ekitike said: “When you play in the best teams, you expect to compete with the best players. Isak is a player I have been following, so seeing him join gives me great pleasure.

It will be tough competition, but I will try to show good results.” Ekitike was bought from Germany’s Eintracht club for 95 million euros.

At Liverpool, he has appeared in four matches, scoring three goals and assisting one. Liverpool will pay approximately 150 million euros for Alexander Isak, but he has yet to make his debut for the new team.

Thus, there is strong competition for a starting position in the team, with both players striving to demonstrate their capabilities. This rivalry will serve to strengthen the overall power of the team.
