Ronaldo commented after Al-Nasr's defeat
Al-Nasr failed to reach the AFC Champions League semi-finals. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Saudi Arabian team lost 2-3 to Kawasaki Frontale in the semi-final. After the match, Al-Nasr's star captain Cristiano Ronaldo posted on social media.
In his post, he said: “Sometimes dreams have to wait. I am proud of our team and grateful for all the efforts we put on the field.
Thank you to all the fans who believed in us and supported us every step of the way. Your support means the whole world to us.”
Currently 40 years old, Cristiano Ronaldo's existing contract with Al-Nasr is set to expire at the end of June. The Portuguese forward is expected to renew his contract soon.
