Markos Roho left Boca Juniors
The 35-year-old Argentine defender Marcos Rojo is now without a club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He left the Argentine club Boca Juniors, where he played for four years. Rojo has appeared in 61 matches for the national team.
Russian football fans remember him well for his time at Moscow's Spartak club. It was with the "red-whites" that he first left his home club Estudiantes in 2011.
After spending a year at Spartak, Rojo later played for Lisbon's Sporting and England's Manchester United. He also had periods when he returned to Estudiantes.
Rojo's departure from Boca Juniors was expected, as a conflict arose with the head coach following the team's failure at the Club World Cup. This conflict negatively affected his career at the club and ultimately led to his exit.
