According to the Fanatik publication, the Turkish club's management had to pay a large fine to the coach nicknamed "The Special One" for terminating the contract, which was previously agreed upon, ahead of schedule.
The compensation amount is 15 million euros. It should be noted that "Fenerbahce" lost to the Portuguese team "Benfica" in the play-off round of the Champions League qualifying stage.
