Antonio Sebastian arrested for threats against Di Maria

Last summer, we reported that Argentine forward Angel Di Maria had received serious threats. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Due to these incidents, the footballer did not even consider returning to his homeland. Recently, news emerged proving that the Argentine police are actively working on this matter.

The police arrested a person suspected of spreading and planning the threats. He is a 33-year-old named Antonio Sebastian, known among the fans of the "Newell's Old Boys" club.

This club is the team where the famous footballer Lionel Messi began his career. Currently, Angel Di Maria plays for the "Benfica" team in the Portuguese championship.

This incident shows increased attention to the footballer's safety and career. The police's prompt actions are an important step towards eliminating the threats.
