Bavaria refused to pay 150 million for Virtz

Bayern club board member Uli Hoeness shared his thoughts on the transfer market. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Hoeness, the Munich club does not want to overpay for players. He emphasized that the club had a very successful summer transfer window.

The Bayern team has a strong squad and does not feel the need to significantly strengthen it. Of course, they wanted to acquire Florian Virtz, but they did not approve buying him for 150 million euros.

This was reported by the Goal portal. It became known that during the summer transfer window, Florian Virtz moved from Bayer club to Liverpool.

According to media sources, his transfer fee amounted to 125 million euros, excluding bonuses. The Bayern club stated that it is in favor of managing its budget cautiously.
