Ancelotti plans to keep Rafinha on the bench

The World Cup 2026 qualifying match will start on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning at 02:30 Moscow time. According to Diario Sport, the national team head coach Carlo Ancelotti plans to give the 28-year-old player a rest.

Therefore, Rafinha is expected to start the game on the bench. The Brazil national team has already secured participation in the World Cup to be held next summer in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

Carlo Ancelotti was appointed head coach of the team at the end of May. He previously worked at Spain's Real Madrid club.
