Diego Simeone, head coach of Madrid's "Atletico" team, considers his team and Argentina national team striker Julian Alvares to be the best player in modern football. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In an interview on Spain's El Partidazo de COPE radio, the Argentine specialist was asked to choose among a number of world football stars, including Jude Bellingham, Lamin Yamal, Mohamed Salah, Erling Haaland, Vinicius Junior, and Kylian Mbappe, alongside Alvares. In all cases, Simeone gave preference to his compatriot Alvares.
