Donnarumma expressed satisfaction with Guardiola's management

Sports03:24, 12-09-2025

The newly signed Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma shared his thoughts about the team's head coach Josep Guardiola. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, it was precisely the Spanish coach who insisted on purchasing the 26-year-old goalkeeper from PSG. Donnarumma considers this opportunity a great honor.

He emphasized that working with such a coach is beneficial for every football player. He said he is eagerly awaiting his first matches under Guardiola's leadership.

Additionally, he expressed confidence that the coach will help him develop further in both the short and long term. Manchester City announced at the beginning of September that they had added the former PSG star to their squad.

The transfer fee was estimated at approximately 30 million euros. This acquisition is considered an important step for the team's future successes.

The collaboration between Donnarumma and Guardiola is expected to drive Manchester City's new achievements.
