Ambrozini: Milan did not try to sign Leonini

According to famous former Italian footballer Massimo Ambrozini, "Milan" should have made a more determined effort to sign central defender Giovanni Leonini. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The "Rossoneri" were among the candidates for the 18-year-old Italian player. The fastest team to act was "Liverpool," who bought this promising star from "Parma" for 35 million euros.

"Milan" sold Tiava for 42 million euros, so why not try to acquire Leonini? "Liverpool" paid him 35 million euros.

Yes, it could have been a risky decision, but this transfer would have been very important for the club and the fans. Pirlo told me that Leonini is a very good player, Ambrozini emphasized in an interview with Cronache di Spogliatoio.

Giovanni Leonini moved to England after playing only 17 games in Serie A. His transfer could have been a great opportunity for "Milan," but the club missed this chance.
