The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has partially upheld the appeal regarding the sanctions imposed on FC Barcelona's head coach Hans-Dieter Flick and his assistant Markus Zorg. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This was reported by the Mundo Deportivo publication. Both specialists will be able to participate in their usual positions during the Champions League match against Newcastle on September 18.
Initially, they were fined for violating the general principles and main conduct rules established by the continental club tournament regulations. Additionally, Flick and Zorg will be under UEFA supervision for one year.
If they violate the rules again, the previous sanctions will be reinstated. This decision allows the specialists to continue their activities, but they will be under strict control.
UEFA aims to ensure tournament discipline and prevent violations with these measures.
