Kelvin Phillips will play for Manchester City

Midfielder Kelvin Phillips may play for Manchester City for the first time in a long while. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The "Citizens" have registered the 29-year-old player for the current English Premier League season. Journalist Fabrizio Romano commented on the possibility of the player having another chance to prove himself in the team, as well as the opportunity to play under coach Josep Guardiola.

Kelvin Phillips' last game for Manchester City took place in December 2023. The Manchester club bought the player from Leeds in the summer of 2022 for 49 million euros.

Phillips has appeared in a total of 31 matches for Guardiola's team, scoring one goal. Last season, he played on loan at Ipswich, but that club did not remain in the Premier League.

Kelvin Phillips' return to the team is considered important news for Manchester City.
