Yamal: Real and Atletico are strong competitors

Sports04:29, 13-09-2025

Barcelona winger Lamin Yamal shared his thoughts about his team's two main rivals – Real and Atletico. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The team led by Hans-Dieter Flick won the La Liga title last season. Both major Madrid clubs significantly strengthened during the summer transfer window, while the "blaugranas" did not have such an opportunity.

According to Yamal, Real and Atletico are competitive teams. However, if we do our job well, ultimately the result depends only on us.

After three rounds, Real has accumulated 9 points, Barcelona is second with 7 points, and Atletico is trailing with only 2 points. Thus, it is important for each team to fully utilize their opportunities throughout the season.

Although the competition is strong, having a distinctive strategy and team play is crucial. The main focus in this year's championship is on performing our work perfectly.
