Onana earns more in Turkey than in England

Goalkeeper Andre Onana recently joined Trabzonspor on loan from Manchester United, becoming one of the highest-paid footballers in the Turkish Super League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, his contract includes bonuses that make Onana earn more in Turkey than he would have if he stayed in England. Currently, his salary is the highest monthly wage at Trabzonspor and ranks among the top earners across the entire league.

The loan agreement between the clubs was signed on September 11 and is intended for one season. At the same time, the 29-year-old player's rights remain with Manchester United.

Onana transferred from Inter to Manchester United in the summer of 2023.
