Enzo Mareska, head coach of Chelsea, shared his thoughts after the Saturday match against Brentford (2:2) in the fourth round of the Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the match, Chelsea was trailing until the 61st minute, but a goal from Cole Palmer equalized the score. In the 85th minute, Moisés Caicedo put the visitors ahead, but the home team gathered their strength in added time and managed to level the score.
The equalizing goal was scored through an accurate throw-in from the sideline. Mareska emphasized that conceding such a goal in the final minutes of the game is regrettable.
He said that the team could have played better in such situations but admitted that as a result, the team lost two points. The coach also stressed that he wants to win every game, but it is not always possible.
Additionally, he noted the need to be cautious when throwing the ball near the goal area, as Brentford is very strong in these situations. Currently, Chelsea has accumulated eight points after four rounds, while Brentford has four points.
The rivalry between the teams continues, and there is a fight to achieve the maximum result in every game.
